A Beginning

The name is Sam Fountain. I am trying to get the most out of life as humanly possible. When I die, I want to know I did everything I could to enjoy my life and positively influence the people I share it with. I can be adventurous. Analytical. Awkward. And that’s only the A’s.

Blogging is an interesting opportunity for me to join a community of diverse people. In life, often our passions are limited by our environment. How easy it is for football fanatics, pet lovers, and Starbucks zealots to find equally passionate friends. But where do the lovers of words go? Book stores? Coffee shops? Because all know those places are just bursting with deeply profound scholars and poets. Where do the movie critics, art admirers, theology and philosophy dabblers, unprofessional fitness gurus, or any combination of the above meet to discuss what makes these passions so essential to us? Fortunately for you and me, this is the 21^st century and the internet is a big place, full of connoisseurs of all the different aspects of life. Sometimes bold partakers, other times observant lurkers. Well, consider this my invitation, to critic, inspire, and contribute to my experiences and ideas. Hopefully I can do the same for you, and with our powers combined, we can achieve new heights and great enthusiasms.
